What is direct linking?
Direct linking allows you to use the URL of a dog detail page or litter detail page as a link
directly to that dog or litter. You can then include those links into web pages or paste those links into email
messages or social media posts.
Where is this URL?
The URL is in address bar of your web browser. You can see it in the image here:
Note that to save space, most browsers do not display the "http://" that is actually the
beginning of the link. Once you copy the link, it should look like
http://bernergarde.org/DB/Dog_Detail?DogID=83557
Does this work the same way for the litter detail page?
Yes. When you copy the URL from the litter detail page, it should look something like
http://bernergarde.org/DB/Litter_Detail?LitterID=23815
Can I direct link to my people detail page?
No. To protect your privacy, we do not allow linking to people detail pages.
