Submit Data To The Berner-Garde Database
For general submissions of dog, litter or personal information, please use the following forms:
INDIVIDUAL DOG SUBMISSION FORM
LITTER SUBMISSION FORM
PERSONAL INFORMATION SUBMISSION FORM
After the form is submitted, a Berner-Garde operator will review the data and enter it into the database. If additional documentation is required, an operator will contact you.
All uploaded certification information with be verified by an operator before it will be entered into the database. Health clearance test results, such as Heart, Eyes, Hips, Elbows, thyroid, etc., that were not submitted to CERF, OFA, or other registries are perfectly acceptable for submission into the database. Please upload the image of the test results for verification. Submissions can be uploaded on your dog’s profile page in the database or by e-mail sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. You would be really helping out our operators if you used the upload button on your dog's page.
Health information can be submitted by the owner or breeder without supporting documentation but it will be marked as anecdotal. Only after receiving a copy of a vet's specific diagnosis or pathology report will the entry be marked as diagnosed. Because researchers are only interested in supportable diagnosed conditions, we really encourage and prefer that supporting documentation is provided. For questions about submitting documentation/certificates, please contact an Operator or one of our Database Managers.
